The Loire Valley can be reached by many means (click on

By Air - Ryanair
have direct flights from Stansted to Tours. Also flights
to Nantes by British
Airways where you can hire a car for the start of your
Loire tour or Paris (Charles de Gaulle airport) and then
TGV train to Tours directly from the airport in about one
hour.
By Ferry - P&O
and Brittany
Ferries have many convenient crossings from the South
Coast ports of England to Northern France.
By Train - Eurostar
have a service from London Waterloo to Lille. There is a
frequent service from Lille to Tours by TGV which is only
two and a half hours making a total journey time of under
four hours from London Waterloo to Tours. (Book early for
special deals).
